Speltenbach healing salt is suitable for soothing complaints through a variety of different treatments.
Full baths: If not otherwise prescribed by your doctor, we recommend 330g Speltenbach HEALING SALT for a bath containing 80 litres of water.
Hand baths: For hand baths please dissolve two heaped tablespoons (ca. 60g) of Speltenbach HEALING SALT in 5 litres of water.
Foot baths: For relaxing foot baths take two heaped tablespoons (ca. 60g) of Speltenbach HEALING SALT and dissolve in 10 litres of water. For incipient colds, foot baths with Speltenbach HEALING SALT have proven to be very effective especially when rising foot baths are used.
The full salt baths should take a maximum of 20 minutes and have a temperature of between 32° and 37° Celsius. The effectiveness of the baths is greatly improved if you do not wash off the HEALING SALT immediately after the application.
Compresses: For compresses one can dilute Speltenbach HEALING SALT as desired and soak a cotton cloth with it, fixating it to the affected area with an elastic bandage. In order to avoid an uncomfortable burning sensation on open or inflamed areas, start with a low concentration of HEALING SALT that can be continually increased as the healing process of the affected areas progresses.
The undiluted application has been very successful especially for smaller areas of the skin. Here the HEALING SALT is spread over the affected area in its pure state and covered with a linen cloth that can be fixated with the help of a bandage.
For quick applications throughout the day, it has also proven very effective to take a tablespoon of HEALING SALT and dissolve it in a litre of water. Then fill the water into a spray bottle. Now you can treat affected skin areas on-the-go or throughout the day.
Tip: The easiest way of treating affected areas on the scalp is by dissolving Speltenbach HEALING SALT in water, filling this into a disposable syringe or a spray bottle and then applying the solution to your scalp. Speltenbach HEALING SALT is only for external use.
